Xiaomi has reportedly patented a smart ring that can automatically adjust its size to fir a wearer's finger. Unlike smartwatches with adjustable straps, smart rings require selection of a precise size for the wearer and do not account for changes in a person's ring size over time. Xiaomi's smart ring could provide a solution to this problem.
