Microsoft to Cut 5 Percent of Workforce Affecting Thousands of Employees: Report

Microsoft will cut five percent of its workforce on Wednesday, according to a report. The Redmond company could cut as many as 11,000 employees, in human resources and engineering divisions and follow job cuts at Amazon and Meta amid slowing demand and a worsening economic outlook.
