App Store, Google Play Store Have Over 1.5 Million 'Abandoned’ Mobile Apps: Report

Over 1.5 million apps out of 5 million available for download on Google Play store and App Store have not been updated in over the last two years, a report has claimed. There are about 314,000 “Super-Abandoned” apps that have not been updated in the last 5 or more years.
