WhatsApp has begun beta testing new granular controls for privacy on the latest beta version of the app for iOS. Users can now opt to hide their last seen, about, and profile photo from specific contacts, according to a feature tracker. There is no word on when the feature will eventually be rolled out to all users on the app for iOS and Android smartphones.
