WhatsApp is reportedly working on introducing a feature that will speed up audio messages while they are being played back. It will work similar to the playback speed feature for voice notes. Users will be able to speed up audio messages up to 2x. The feature was spotted beta testing on iOS, speculated to launch on Android soon.
